EducationDO degree, board eligibility or board certification inosteopathic neuromusculoskeletal medicine and osteopathicmanipulative medicine, or its equivalent.ExperienceTeaching osteopathic manipulative medicine in lecture, lab andsmall group settings.Certifications, Licenses, RegistrationsMust be licensed or eligible for license in the State ofGeorgia.Preference may be given to applications with an ABPTScertification or residency/fellowship experience. Evaluate and administrate OMM curriculum for medicalstudents.Evaluate student progress in learning appropriate medicalknowledge. Communicate these evaluations to the students andadministrative/faculty members as appropriate.Serve in leadership and membership capacities on college andfaculty committees.Collaborate with faculty by reviewing test questions,volunteering for club activities and committee activities.Actively pursue scientific research or other scholarly activityin one or more areas of scientific study.Participate in professional and scientific meetings to furtherindividual knowledge and to contribute to the development of otherprofessionals.Prepare and deliver presentations to other professionals at andduring local/regional/national professional and scientificmeetings.Assume responsibilities as assigned which may include sitevisits, faculty development, course evaluation, and direction ofjunior faculty or clinicians.Maintain active licenses and board certification.Other duties as assigned.center_img Letter of intentCurriculum vitae PCOM is an equal opportunity employer and all qualifiedapplicants will receive consideration.
